The conference “Bioplastics – recent tendencies in Europe” has been organised by the society "homo ecos:" in cooperation with the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development, one of the major manufacturers of raw materials for bioplastics „Novamont”, a major distributor of bioplastic products in Latvia „Green Mood” and the manufacturer responsibility system „Latvijas Zaļais punkts”.

Informational supporters of conference are Packaging Association of Latvia, Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry , Latvia Traders Association, Vides vestis, IR and European Hit Radio.

The conference will be held on September 16th at the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development.
 

The aim of the conference is to present recent tendencies in the area of bioplastics, and it will include lectures from several internationally recognised experts.
 

The conference will be held in Latvian and English, with ensured synchronic translation. Participants will receive all of the speakers’ presentations and other informative materials related to the conference in CD format.
 

As there is a limited number of seats for the conference, we kindly ask you to register your participation in duly time — by paying a participation fee for the amount of LVL 20,- to the account of the Society with mention of "The Conference" in a payment order. In case of non-attendance the participation fee is not reimbursed.
