Although nowadays it wouldn’t be possible to imagine life without plastics, everybody knows that it has an enormous environmental footprint. Depletion of fossil resources to make it, enormous amounts of greenhouse gases going to atmosphere in manufacturing process and, for all that, stunning waste streams - as we know, plastics are not able to degrade for thousands of years - in spite of few minutes’ useful lifetime, as in case of disposable crockery, for example.

Sounds too bad? Anyway, there are good news as well: we have a possibility to opt for clean and healthy environment by choosing bioplastics – a material from natural, renewable resources being fully biodegradable after use and without any negative impact to the environment.
