Handbook „Environment friendly citizen of the Europe”

On August 2011, an international environment education workshop „Green week”took place in the wonderful nature park Tervete. 40 people from Nordic and Baltic countries gathered together to deepen their knowledges about different nature related issues, and, under the guidance of international teachers and experts, practiced a green lifestyle that will make our planet greener and healthier. Workshop was organized by „Eko Media” Ltd. in collaboration with 7 different partner organizations from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Finland within the framework project „Green life”.

As a result of the workshop „Green week”, a handbook „Environment friendly citizen of the Europe” was made, where representatives from all the countries summarized everything they heard and learned during the week. In a simple and exciting language, the handbook explains 5 main environmental long term issues: global environmental processes, daily ecolife, environmental journalism, outdoor life and waste- reduce, reuse and recycle. Handbook is a great help to everyone, who wants to be a true friend of nature and is determined to live ecologically every day.
