An international youth exchange project ‘’Speak for Nature’’ in Kolka

 From 4th until 13th of August 25 young people aged from 18 to 25 took part in a youth exchange project called ‘’Speak For Nature’’. During the ten days of the project participants lived in a small Latvian seaside town called Kolka  and spent days exploring the diversity of the local nature and its elements, which were documented in bright and memorable photographies and videos, revealing the stories of what they have seen, heard and experienced.

 The participants of the project represented 4 following countries: Latvia, Bulgaria, Austria and Romania. Participants had the chance to attend various lectures and creative workshops on different topics such as biology, photography, communication and also work together on photo or video projects regarding a specific component of nature.

The project was carried out by society "homo ecos," and project "Footprint Stories" and is supported by the EU informal education program "Youth in Action" and  "Latvia's State Forests" project "Mammadaba".
